The Requirements tab, we're looking for a professional who has:
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks concurrently
- The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, resulting in a clear understanding of the issues, both internally and with CTS customers and suppliers
- Solid computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
- Experience with Automotive Quality Standards or similar standards for a similar industry
Preferred but not required:
- DFMEA and/or DRBFM experience
- Experience with Solid Edge or similar CAD program
- Familiarity with high volume production products
- Familiarity with test and validation of products
- Experience with ISO 26262
- Familiarity with braking systems and braking standards
You will work from the office at least three days per week, though there is some flexibility for the other two days to work from the office or from home. As you will be working with global teams and customers, we’ll ask you to be flexible to take occasional meetings outside of normal business hours. You may be asked to travel up to 10% of your time to visit customers or manufacturing locations in Europe.

Your main goal will be to maintain communication with our primary customer throughout the design process, as well as building relationships with a few other customers we are working to develop. Most of your time will be spent on coordinating internal cross-functional team meetings to be the customer’s voice at the table and to gain the information to take back to them. You’ll also spend a good deal of time creating and managing documentation related to automotive compliance, and preparing for or engaging in customer communication.
Some of your specific tasks will be to:
- Lead Engineering activities to support eBrake emulator development and production launch while interfacing with global customers and suppliers.
- Assist with mechanical design using Solid Edge software, tolerance stack-up analyses, mathematical modelling of product function and performance, etc.
- Lead benchmarking and analysis of competitive products/technologies.
- Lead the team to ensure product design and performance compliance with CTS, regulatory and customer specification.
- Develop internal performance specifications to support new product development.
- Ensure adequate project and technical communications (e.g. meetings, oral reports, technical reports) with CTS personnel, management, suppliers and customers.
- Manage technology development and integration into existing and new product/process opportunities.
